Our Story
Archaeology in the Community (AITC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in Washington, DC founded by Dr. Alexandra Jones. Dr. Jones and her team partner with educational institutions, cultural organizations, and communities for high-quality programming for all learners. Archaeology is a way to understand the past, which is essential to understanding the world of today and making informed decisions for the future.
